At more than 58,000 sq. ft., the new Premier/Mademoiselle Concept Club in north Mississauga is one of the company's most comprehensive lifestyle centres. The ultimate state-of-the-art fitness facility located at Mill Creek Drive at Erin Mills has an extensive array of equipment, luxurious amenities, and for your convenience more than 400 parking spaces.
The Club spans two floors and has expansive windows that fill the exercise spaces with natural light. From the moment you step into the grand entrance, you know you're in for something special. The awesome visual panorama includes a massive staircase leading to the open concept upper level, and the main floor four-lane swimming pool with its crisp blue water that tempts you to jump in and do some laps. There is an exciting activity level along the mezzanine perimeter, where 50 TV monitors suspended from the ceiling provide entertainment to those running on treadmills. As members bustle to and from their fitness/relaxation destinations, you are drawn into the pulse of vitality in this high-energy fitness centre.
Off the grand entranceway to the right, you'll find the Pro Shop and Suntan Studio featuring new Uvalux Superbeds. The Physiomed walk-in medical clinic is staffed by a full-time MD, chiropractor, physiotherapist, kinesiologist and nutritionist. The Physiomed Clinic services primarily club members, and also the general public. Beyond the clinic is a 35 seat conference room that can be used by members for corporate meetings in this invigorating setting.
To the left of the entrance is the new Booster Juice Bar, which offers nutritious snacks and delicious fruit smoothies. The Day Spa includes a hair salon, relaxing massages and esthetics services. Beyond the spa, the Childcare Centre is supervised by accredited childcare specialists. This monitored play haven serves as a refuge for youngsters as their parents enjoy a great workout.
The grand staircase takes you upstairs to the hub of the Club – an incredible 30,000 sq. ft. workout floor featuring more than 400 exercise machines with the latest and greatest brands including Cybex, Hammer Strength, Body Masters, Flex and Life Fitness. Revel in being spoiled by this " equipment smorgasbord "- the greatest collection of exercise apparatus found under one roof. With over 30 exercise machines for each body part, you can work out every day of the month without using the same machine twice. All the strength equipment is strategically placed so you can view your form in free-floating steel-encased mirror frames, or steel-framed mirrors mounted on the perimeter walls.
You'll also find a row of studios that cater to specific exercise disciplines. The Aerobic Studio has Premier's traditional sprung maple wood flooring, and the Stretch Studio™ features every piece imaginable of stretching apparatus, so each member can properly warm up for their workout. The Cardiovascular Studio offers the use of over 100 pieces of equipment, from walking machines to treadmills and stair climbing apparatus. The MedX Studio has two lines of scientifically and medically based MedX equipment set up in a circuit system. The Boxing for Fitness Studio encompasses a competition-size boxing ring, 12 heavy bags, six speed bags and various boxing training gear.
Mademoiselle Women's Fitness
The Mademoiselle Club is a separate, private women's-only facility within the Premier complex. This inviting refuge offers every woman's ideal fitness experience, starting with a separate, private grand entrance and reception area and staffing, a fully equipped exercise floor and a traditional upscale locker room. Mademoiselle's bright, spacious, no-nonsense aerobic studio is designed with spring-loaded natural maple wood floors, reflective lights, ceiling-high mirrors and room to move! Our state-of-the-art Life Fitness treadmills and Cybex elliptical trainer cardio equipment are easy to enjoy with television entertainment that spans one wall. You will find a high-end collection of Life Fitness strength training machines, mostly targeted to typical female "problem areas" - along with women-friendly free weights.
The Mademoiselle Club-within-a-club allows female members all the privacy they want, but also access to the comprehensive amenities in the main complex. They can enjoy refreshments at the Booster Juice Bar or take a dip in the pool. The Day Spa is a relaxing, spotless oasis that invites members in for a pampering massage, aesthetics and tanning. Peace of mind is part of the Premier package, as a daycare facility is staffed by ECE's and equipped with video monitoring to allow members to watch their children while they work out.
In Mademoiselle's spacious, stunning locker room, members can kick back in a comfortable lounge area equipped with a television and member telephones, a steam room, private showers, oversized lockers, a luxury vanity area and individual bathroom suites complete with a shower, marble-top sink and toilet.
