Entrance Lobby

The beautiful wood-paneled entrance lobby establishes a welcoming ambience from first glance. The experience begins with the artistic wall poster of a female in a "flex" position that inspires you to celebrate your physical achievement as she revels in hers. Upscale Locker Rooms

Premier Fitness is known for its upscale executive locker rooms. After an invigorating workout, enjoy a soothing steam in our beautifully tiled eucalyptus steam room followed by a refreshing shower in one of our private three-piece washrooms. Unique to Premier, these roomy bathroom suites include a sink, shower and toilet for those who prefer privacy when they freshen up.

We also include for your convenience oversized lockers, express showers and make-up counters. And – you can leave the toiletries at home! We provide what you need including hair dryers, curling and flat irons, all arranged on our signature floating curved-granite vanity. 

Child Minding Centre

As a member of Premier Fitness Newmarket, you have the added benefit of being able to bring along your children, who can be looked after in our Child Minding Centre. Children from 1 to 8 years of age will be supervised by qualified Early Childhood Education professionals in a safe, brightly decorated, spacious environment. They can enjoy the fully equipped play park, board games and drawing materials, plus the centre includes change tables and children's bathrooms. To enhance your comfort level, we provide video monitoring so you can see what the youngsters are up to while you reenergize yourself with some precious me-time.

Cardiovascular Equipment

Today's busy fitness enthusiasts want to exercise – NOW. And at Premier, we make sure you can do just that without waiting in line.

We offer a wide variety of brand-name best-of-the-best cardiovascular equipment  in the business, such as Cybex, Life Fitness, Precor, Stairmaster and Technogym. You will find treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent cycles, Technogym Wave machines and Stairmaster Stepmills.

And to make your workout even more interesting, we have equipped each cardio machine with its own personal TV monitor. Tune to your favourite television show, get your body moving, and have fun! At Premier, you are in a fitness realm like no other – a veritable workout heaven!

Group Exercise

Many of our members thrive on the energy of aerobic exercise classes, and for them we offer up to 100 group fitness classes per week. Our accredited, professional instructors lead these invigorating sessions in our private studios that are equipped with spring-loaded, state-of-the-art aerobic maple floors. Classes are designed for the spectrum of members, from beginners through advanced exercisers. These options take many forms, from low-impact to highly challenging boot camp, cardio kick-box, cross-training, cycling and much more. Class schedules are updated monthly.

Unlike most fitness clubs, where they may have one name brand of equipment, at Premier we include in our equipment selection the top six brands available on the market today, with as many as 6  to 12 pieces of equipment for each body part. Fitness and Nutritional Assessments

As part of our commitment to every Premier Fitness member, we provide a fitness assessment through our Health Centre, which is staffed with kinesiologists. Our kinesiologists are responsible for monitoring every member's fitness assessment and workout progress. This procedure enables us to determine your starting point to help us develop a personalized fitness program that will enable you to achieve your ultimate health and fitness goals. Our kinesiologists will work with you to design a personalized Intelligent Prescriptive Fitness (IPF) program that will help to ensure your fitness success.

If weight loss and better nutrition are your goals, Premier's intelligent Prescriptive Nutrition (IPN) program is a must. A complimentary personal nutrition consultation is included as part of every fitness assessment. Our commitment to you is to perform reassessments and nutritional consultations every three months to ensure that you are making progress, and to make adjustments or upgrades to your program as required.
